My Story

How long have you been a Responder? - Newly qualified - Less than a year

Why did you become a Responder? - I wanted to help my community and support the East Midlands Ambulance Service

Did you have any training before coming a Responder? - I had First Aid at Work training a long time ago

What is your favourite thing about Responding? - Being able to give reassurance to patients and to support the professionals

What advice would you give to yourself if you could go back to the day after your training?

Take the time to review the training notes from beginning to end so that the knowledge stays in your brain
